Put Your Latest Tweet In Your Google Talk Status Message

If you’re looking for a way to set your twitter updates as your status message on Google Talk, look no further than Twitter2Gtalk. All you need to do is login to your Google account, specify your twitter username and check the ‘Active’ button. Twitter2Gtalk will then push your tweets to your Google Talk status in about 5-20 minutes. Twitter @replies aren’t sent to your Google Talk status, though.

Download gAlwaysIdle to make your GTalk Status Always Idle

Back when Gmail Chat hadn’t introduced the Invisible mode, there was no way you could remain invisible from your Gtalk friends when logged in. I was using a program called gAlwaysIdle then, and when I’m just busy I just use it to change my status to ‘Idle’ on Google Talk.

The Invisible mode doesn’t work when you’re using both Google Talk and Gmail chat simultaneously. That’s when gAlwaysIdle could home handy.
