How To Make Web Pages Reload Automatically Every Few Seconds?
If you’re on a frequently-updated webpage (like twitter.com or search.twitter.com), and have to reload it often to see the changes, you might find it slightly annoying.

Enhance Google Search Pages with Greasemonkey Scripts
Greasemonkey scripts enhance web pages and add additional functionality to them. Greasemonkey works with Firefox. You can download plenty of Greasemonkey scripts from userscripts.org to spice up websites.
The following Greasemonkey scripts add useful functions to Google’s pages, specifically Web search pages. Have a look at them – they could well improve your productivity.
Make Google Reader show the Item Entry Title in the Title Bar
For some reason, I’ve always wanted this feature on Google Reader. The Google Reader page’s title is pretty static – it just says ‘Google Reader’ and shows the number of unread items. Suppose you’re reading a new entry on Google Reader, the title bar doesn’t reflect that item’s title.
Thoughts: Planypus Online Event Planner
Planyp.us has launched version ‘2.0’ of their online event planner that I’m sure you’ll love using – it’s basically kind of like a stripped down blog platform and it lets you create and plan events.
Free MP3 Music Player Widget for your blog
![]()
This little site up at Muzicons.com lets you upload your favourite song in MP3 format, and create a widget that can stream it over to your blog’s visitors. Just upload your MP3 song, customize the looks of the MP3 widget and choose an icon to portray your emotion or feelings. That’s about it. How to view the original size of a Flickr photo when the All Sizes option is missing?
When you’re browsing through pictures on Flickr, you should have seen an ‘All Sizes’ option above photos. Clicking on the ‘All Sizes’ option takes you to a page that has links to the photo in various sizes, including its biggest version.
However, some photos have restricted permissions and have the ‘All Sizes’ option missing or disabled and it’s not possible to directly retrieve the original version of the photo.
Embed RSS feeds quickly in your site with Feed Source
A month ago, I talked about using the Google AJAX Feed API to insert RSS feeds in your website. I happened to stumble upon Feed Source recently which is a quite a nice tool that you can use to insert articles from an RSS feed on your blog or website.

Just go to the site, specify the URL, customise the colours, copy and paste the code, and you’re done. It comes without any frills or bells – just a no-nonsense tool that does its job.
And of course, it’s possible to embed RSS posts using a bit of PHP coding if you’ve got a blog running on WordPress.

The Best, Free CD Album Cover Art Search Engines
I always like to have a well-tagged and organized music collection complete with cover art. Some of my MP3s don’t have cover arts included in their ID3s, and it’s a pain searching for cover arts and adding them to the songs. Google Image Search is good, but there are better and efficient tools to do the same job of searching and fetching CD Album Cover Arts.
What follows is a list of some CD Album Cover Art search engines and tools that I’ve been using over the past few months. I’d really appreciate if you know of any other cover art searching tools – please leave a comment if you have something to say.
