Finding the version of Android that’s running on your mobile phone is pretty easy. Here’s how you can quickly find the Android version on your phone:

Press the Home button. You’ll be now in the home screen. Now, hit Menu. The following options will appear:

Android OS Version

Tap Settings

Tap About Phone

Android Firmware Version

Hit Software Information

Android Software Version

The phone should now display the firmware version of Android that’s running on your mobile device.

Get Android Version

The method described above works on HTC phones. In other phones like Motorola’s Droid, I presume you will have an option called ‘Firmware Version’ instead of ‘Software Information’.
