Sync Photos Between Local Folders and Your Flickr Account

with 2 comments

FlickrSync is a neat app that lets you sync photos between your Flickr account and local folders in your computer. After you install the app,  you’re required to authorize it after which it loads your Flickr sets.

FlickrSync then displays a familiar Explorer-like interface where you can select the folders that have to be synced with your Flickr account. A dialog is displayed where you can set further options for the sync. You can set local photos and Flickr photos to match by their name, or match by the date taken.

There are plenty of other options you can set, according to the FlickrSync website:

· Define Flickr permissions for each folder and other synchronization options

· Synchronize all image information, including metadata like title and description, keywords/tags and even geo information.

· Define optional filters for each folder. For example: only synchronize to Flickr images that have a certain keyword/tag, or a minimal star rating on a specific folder.

· Supported under Windows XP SP2 (or higher) and Windows Vista
