All you have to do is copy a piece of text from any web application using the obvious Ctrl+C keyboard shortcut and then press Ctrl+G to launch a Google search for the same text. The only downside is that the search results open in Internet Explorer, even if your default browser isn’t IE. Download the ‘Clipboard to Google’ windows utility from here.
