Get the Windows 7 Taskbar in Windows XP

The Windows 7 taskbar is pretty cool and functional, with large icons to help you switch between several programs quickly. Guess what? Now, you can get a taste of the Windows 7 taskbar in Windows XP with the help of a program called ViGlance.

Windows 7 Taskbar for Windows XP

ViGlance makes Windows XP’s taskbar look like Windows 7. With 48×48 icon support, PNG Skins, transparency and transitional effects, this tool does emulate Windows 7’s taskbar in XP to a huge extent. Vista editions are coming, but you can download it for XP right away from here.

  8. Not working properly for me – some buttons are large than others, and buttons overlap, partially hiding some buttons. Not sure why these problems are occurring.

  11. Be patient ViGlance run multi times and finaly show buttons pid on taskbar.

  13. i tried this and was pretty surprised, it’s not too bad, although it had some bugs, after having a taste of 7 i just went out and bought it.
