Update: The giveaway is closed. Winners have been announced.

Killer Tech Tips is offering two of you a chance to win a 50 GB account (each) for Syncplicity. If you don’t know what Syncplicity is, it’s a really functional program that will keep files and folder synchronized between computers. If you frequently work on multiple computers, you’ll find Syncplicity indispensable.

Free Syncplicity Pro Accounts Giveaway

All you have to do is just install the Syncplicity client on your computer and tell what should be backed up online. Install the client in the other computer that should be synchronized with the file changes and you’re done. If you want to share a file with a friend, just right click on any synced file for a shareable link that you can pass around. The entire process is encrypted, so it’s a very secure program that you can try. Read all about its features here.

All in all, Syncplicity keeps you away from all your backup worries and hassles. You can use Syncplicity for FREE if you have less than 2 GB of data to backup. However, for more storage, you have to pay. Don’t worry though: we’re giving away two 50 GB Syncplicity Pro accounts (each) that are valid for a year. They’d otherwise cost you around a hundred bucks. You can sync between an unlimited number of computers and have 50 GB worth of data backed up safe, online.

Here’s how you can participate in the giveaway:

  • Use Twitter to tweet this post.
  • Come back here, and leave a comment on this post with a valid email address and the link to your tweet. Please don’t post the link to your Twitter ID, but instead to your tweet (eg: http://twitter.com/ampercent/status/1565048015)
  • You should also tell in the comments why you really need the 50 GB Syncplicity account.

I’ll be picking up two winners randomly in about 3-4 days. Update: The giveaway is closed. Winners have been announced.

  2. It is good to know that you are giving away two Syncplicity pro accounts..

Well I work on multiple computers at different locations and I need a way to have all the data synced across all these computers so that I can carry out my work without the need to carry computers with me or carrying the data in portable drive.

  4. Would love a 50 gb account. It’d be helpful since I do a lot of work from home in between work. Its a lot easier than carrying a flash drive around and even with a flash drive, you can’t get all the things you need to get to all the time because of the size constraints.

  5. I’ve been using Syncplicity for a while and have been promoting it’s use in my blog and amongst my friends ever since I found out about it!
Currently I am organizing several community groups while I’m at college and I’ve created quite a few shared folders with lots of documents which we use to collaborate, but this is limiting the quota I have left for my personal documents so it’d be great to have a pro account !

  6. I use Syncplicity almost every day to access documents saved at home or just to keep my two computers in sync. I’m a college student so being able to print things you forgot or just have access to a large amount of documents from everywhere is awesome. I also use Syncplicity to upload photos to Facebook and make my Google Documents mirror my local documents folder. I guess I need the 50gb so I can store more and not worry about hitting my limit, letting me sync more folders and do more. iPhone interface is awesome too!

  8. THESIS. Loads of documents and infinite versions of my baby are all over: USBs, email attachments, folders @ work/school/home computers. The dark labyrinths of my study are no match for the mess I’ve made with all those files.

Syncplicity would help me get it all together, and save me alot of time and lost pages.

PICK ME!!! Thesis = childbirth. :)

I currently use Syncplicity for its synchronization feature (between work and home computers), and I’ve used another system for backups until now, but I’d love to switch to safeguarding all my data on Syncplicity.

I could totally use this service… I have 2 laptops, an iPhone, and a work machine, and nothing is ever synced or truly backed up because I’m always aware of the disc space I need… Hope I win!

  17. Cannot live without Syncplicity anymore: all my important files are available on my PC, laptop and even online by means of the web interface. Even my google docs are synced automatically! I really recommend to give it a try with their free account for 2Gbyte.

I really need to upgrade to 50Gbyte to store all my photos and videos.

I could really benefit from a 50gb Syncplicity Account. I travel throughout Japan for my work, and having one of these 50gb Syncplicity Accounts, would eliminate me having to cart external hard drives around, still will carry my Asus Netbook, its nice and light ;)

  23. It would work great if it can handle computers in multiple locations. I probably need to go find out what features it offers. That’s going to be a huge effort saving for backups. I guess being selective 50GB is enough.

I have three computers. Laptop and two desktop its very hard to keep files in sync. I love syncplicity! It makes sharing files easy the way its suppose to be. I’ve already referred my friends and maxed out my 5GB account. Why should I get a free account…. Well because I will actually use it (all of it)… and I’ll tell all my friends and get them to signup as well. SYNCPLICITY FTW!!!

I work between a laptop, a home computer, and computers at my university. I’ve used my free Syncplicity account to keep most of my current school documents synced, but a pro account would allow me to keep ALL of my important documents synced: Pro Tools sessions, large Photoshop files, photo files for manipulation, and older (but still very useful) documents. And, of course, it would be great to KNOW those are backed up.

  27. I’m a grad student which means I have no money. What I do have is a laptop at home and access to a few computers in the lab and a lot of data. I could really use the 50GBs as it would greatly simplify my life. Syncpliciy >> having to carry a portable hard drive all the time.

  28. http://twitter.com/garethcook/statuses/1591679804 I think you should give me the 50gig because like everyone I am between computers, I am studing and working, have not money … But unlike everyone I want the motivation of seeing hundreds of photos of my new baby while I am working on my multiple computers, sure I am going to back up work stuff but my real motivation is all the photos and some videos. Syncplicity would help make life that much better for me….here is a picture of my baby, http://twitpic.com/3tdc6, imagine being able to look over these photos where ever you are….

  29. Having reviewed Syncplicity and tried other sync services like Dropbox, Windows Live Share, Gladinet, Syncplicity has carved its niche and stands out in its offering for mobile devices as well.

I have been using Syncplicity since October and would so love the PRO account to really make it work for me. Here is my tweet.. http://twitter.com/KIntheHouse/statuses/1597020961

  30. My preciousss… photos, work files, important documents, those good old mp3s that are the soundtrack of my file, all these things need a warm and safe place to stay, i wouldn’t die without them, but i would sleep a lot better with a 50 GB syncplicity pro account to held them safely. Hope this is giveaway is lucky based, because my answer is as good as the others but i want it more.
