Read and extract data from .NBU Nokia Backup Files
If you have a Nokia mobile phone and have ever tried backing up data from your phone on to your PC, you’d have noticed the Nokia PC Suite creating a file called .NBU that contains a backup of your data. These .NBU files can be restored to your phone later using the PC Suite itself but the bottom-line is that you can’t extract pieces of data from that file.
Delete all Direct Messages in your Twitter Account
If you find your Twitter direct messages inbox clogged up with too many messages, you might feel like deleting them all at once. Unfortunately, Twitter doesn’t provide a way to delete multiple/all direct messages at once. You can delete them individually, but that’s going to take a hell lot of your time if you have too many direct messages in your account.
It’s been a great year
This new year marks the first birthday of Killer Tech Tips. Of late, I haven’t written much on this blog. I’m going to complete my schooling in just three months from now, and my final exams begin on March 2. That’s taking a toll on this blog. Till then, posts will be sporadic or you may not see any posts at all.
Job Search on Twitter?
Loic Le Meur wanted authority search on Twitter and it just happened. In just about 12 hours, Jon Wheatley managed to make just that – he launched an authority based search engine for Twitter called Twitority (see Techcrunch coverage here). You can go there to search tweets and filter the results based on the number of followers one has.

How to clear recently used files list in Word?

You may have noticed that in Word, Excel and all other Office programs, there is a list of recently used or opened documents at the bottom of the File menu option. It’s kind of like the My Recent Documents features on the Windows Start Menu.
However, if you want to remove the recently used file list so that it does not show up at all, you can set an option to show zero recent documents.
