Youtube – a new Theater View option?
ADVERTISEMENTSWhile browsing around Youtube today, I noticed two options appearing above the video that was playing on the page. One of them was ‘Theater View’ and the other was ‘Lights Off’.

On clicking the Theater View option, the panels on the right move down immediately and the video expands to fill a larger area. Clicking on Lights Off, all the other parts of the page get dimmed down and only the video player gets highlighted, as you can see here:

I’m not sure if this feature was already present for some videos, or if it’s just being made available/tested via selected users. Did anyone else notice the theater view option for Youtube videos? Let us know in the comments. Update: This feature is currently available for all long videos on Youtube, as the Google Operating System blog reports.

Must be a closed test, cuz I don’t see nothing in my youtube account… too bad, that’s looks really nice.

OHhh, i should’ve think of that first…
I went to this video “leading@google” and they have theater and lights off. hehe
