Create Universal Keyboard Shortcuts for iTunes

If you’re a power user and use iTunes at least occasionally, you might find the lack of universal keyboard shortcuts in iTunes a big annoyance. You just can’t control iTunes from other applications using keyboard shortcuts.

iTunesKeys comes to the rescue though, and lets you create custom universal keyboard shortcuts to control iTunes playback. The app also displays song info including artwork near the system tray every time a new song is played, just like Winamp does.

Free Dialup Internet Connections in India from BSNL

As I learned from The Hindu yesterday, BSNL, India’s biggest phone and internet services provider, is offering free dial up internet access for all its landline customers till the end of October 2008. Free MP3 Music Player Widget for your blog

This little site up at Muzicons.com lets you upload your favourite song in MP3 format, and create a widget that can stream it over to your blog’s visitors. Just upload your MP3 song, customize the looks of the MP3 widget and choose an icon to portray your emotion or feelings. That’s about it. How to remove or delete an application from your Facebook account?

Since they revamped the Facebook user interface some time ago, everything looks a bit different and I had a tough time navigating around the site. It was also tedious to remove an application from my profile and it took me some time to figure out the option that does the same.

So I thought of writing this up so that in case anyone finds navigating the site wearisome, they can refer to this and get the application removed quickly from their profiles.
