Remove Entries from the Add Or Remove Programs List
If the Add or Remove Programs list in your Windows XP Control Panel is mistakenly listing a program that has been uninstalled, you can easily remove that software program from the list.

The Add or Remove Programs Cleaner just does what it says. On firing up the less than 1 MB exe file, a window pops up listing the software that you’ve gotten installed on your Windows computer.
Select any program and click the ‘Remove from Add/Remove Programs List’ button and the entry for that software instantly disappears from the software uninstallation list in the control panel.
The Add Or Remove Programs Cleaner can be downloaded from here.

This is useful stuff. Most of us know that the default Add/Remove Programs are not that useful, sometimes.
