Hyperdesk Hypersuites – Quick Review and Giveaway – Win 2 DarkMatter Subspace Theme Licences!

with 12 comments

If you’re the kind of person who frequently keeps changing skins on your desktop, you’ll love Hyperdesk. Hyperdesk is a product from The Skins Factory that allows you to skin your Windows desktop.

The themes are designed by commercial artists – so they look very professional. Every skin suite (Hypertheme) includes a Windows theme, a cute icon set, and an equally pleasing wallpaper. Additional stuff like Windows Media Player themes and a few widgets are also present in some themes.

Here’s why Hyperdesk’s Hypersuites are better than many other themes available for download:

  • Very brilliant themes – professionally designed, no niggles, and neat finish
  • Hyperdesk uses Microsoft’s own skinning engine – so your system stays stable
  • It’s a matter of just click – install – apply. Doesn’t involve any hacks
  • One click easy restore – You can easily return back to the default theme at the click of a button – no hassles here as well

You gotta take a look at the site to believe it. Check it out here. If you want some screenshots, here are some:

Giveaway

Jeff of The Skins Factory was kind enough to offer 2 licenses for the DarkMatter Hypertheme for our readers.

DarkMatter contains two distinct hypersuites for Windows, a Windows Media Player and an iTunes widget and a futuristic icon and a wallpaper that’ll blow your mind. As an added bonus, you also get a skin for Windows Media Player.

As you can see from the screenshots above, the Hyperdesk DarkMatter Subspace is indeed a very brilliant theme to use on your desktop and impress your friends!

How to Win?

The theme actually costs $9.95, but you can get two licenses for free – just leave a comment here and let us see your desktops – upload the screenshot your current desktop in an image hosting site like Photobucket or Imageshack and leave the URL here. Also, please leave a working email ID so that I can contact you later regarding the giveaway, if you happen to win.  Make sure you subscribe to the feed for free via an RSS reader or via email so that you can get updates when the winner is announced.

The two most beautiful desktops will be chosen by me, and each commenter will win a license for the DarkMatter Subspace Hypersuites from Hyperdesk. The final decision rests with me.

Update 1: Some of you have been posting Vista Desktop Screenshots, but please note that Hyperdesk is available only for Windows XP at the moment.

Update 2: The contest is over. Winners have been announced.
