Easily find and check MD5 hashes in Windows with HashTab
May 25, 2008 · Posted in software tools
File Hashes are used to verify the integrity of a file. You can use them to check if a file is intact and not corrupted. Checking MD5 sums might be a daunting task to some, but HashTab is a 100 KB utility for Windows Explorer that makes the job relatively easy.

Hashtab adds a ‘File Hashes’ tab to Windows Explorer’s File Properties window and displays the MD5, SHA1 and CRC-32 hashes for a file - which you can then use to verify the integrity of a file.
Download HashTab for Windows. I think it’s a handy tool that is a must-have for download junkies.

Shankar, I searched for “Easily Check MD5″ and came in here.
Really, i was looking for something exactly like this which integrates into Windows Explorer rather than lie as a standalone app.
